    Join our team as a **Manufacturing Manager** at our Peachtree City Roofing facility, where you'll lead daily Production and Maintenance operations to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality manufacturing. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you’ll drive performance by developing production schedules, managing KPIs, overseeing critical equipment maintenance, and championing Lean and Six Sigma initiatives. This is a hands-on leadership role with significant impact on operational excellence, team development, and continuous improvement across the plant.

    Here’s what you can expect day-to-day:

    + Lead and coordinate production and maintenance activities within the facility.

    + Develop and execute daily and weekly production schedules aligned with sales forecasts and inventory needs.

    + Monitor and manage production KPIs, including output, efficiency, scrap, downtime, and labor utilization.

    + Drive compliance with product specifications, quality standards, and customer requirements.

    + Champion Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma initiatives to identify and implement process improvements.

    + Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance for critical plant equipment, such as laminators, cutters, extruders, and conveyors.

    + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize processes, reduce costs, and address bottlenecks.

    + Ensure adherence to safety protocols and environmental standards, participating in incident investigations and corrective actions.

    This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact on production efficiency, quality, and team development while fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement.

     

    + **Required Educational Background:** Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field; or equivalent experience.

    + **Experience:** 5+ years of manufacturing experience in a management capacity, including prior first-line supervision and experience in at least two manufacturing support functions (e.g., Production Control or Quality Assurance).

    + **Technical Skills:** Strong working knowledge of product structures, modern manufacturing technologies, and quality standards. Expertise in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, 5S, TPM (Total Productive Maintenance), and Statistical Process Control (SPC).

    + **Leadership & Communication Skills:** Proven ability to engage, lead, and develop a talented team. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
