Comcast NBCUniversal has announced its intent to create a new publicly traded company ('Versant') comprised of most of NBCUniversal's cable television networks, including USA Network, CNBC, MSNBC, Oxygen, E!, SYFY and Golf Channel along with complementary digital assets Fandango, Rotten Tomatoes, GolfNow, GolfPass, and SportsEngine. The well-capitalized company will have significant scale as a pure-play set of assets anchored by leading news, sports and entertainment content. The spin-off is expected to be completed during 2025.
Role Purpose:
This position will be responsible for the preparation, analysis, and invoicing of billing.
Responsibilities:
+ Assist Account Management and Sales Planners in meeting billing deadlines and resolving billing issues
+ Meet monthly close deadlines in reconciling and generating billing as well as preparing files for transfer to SAP accounts receivable system
+ Preparation of digital monthly invoices, including verifying Operative. Run status reports reflecting the billable lines and amounts against dashboard and third party/primary data
+ Perform pre-bill and post-bill quality assurance several times a month and follow through to ensure accuracy of master data and billing
+ Generate monthly billing for NBCU Digital Enterprises including Peacock, SyFy, USA, Bravo
+ Work with clients on providing support requested for any digital invoice inquiries or discrepancies
+ Perform historical billing error root cause analysis for long-term process improvements
+ Process invoice adjustments submitted by Sales through Operative and SAP
+ Assist Management in projects assigned
+ Assist Collections team in billing resolutions and research of accounts
Basic Requirements:
+ 2 years billing experience
+ Four-year degree (B.A., B.S.) in Business, Accounting, or Finance
+ Proficient in advanced Excel
+ Ability to communicate efficiently with different departments and clients
+ SAP experience preferred
+ Problem solving skills, ability to dig into problems and drive resolutions
+ Detail oriented
+ Excellent research, organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills
+ Solid organizational skills
Desired Characteristics:
+ Experience with Dashboard/Operative
+ Experience with Salesforce
Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the New York, NY office a minimum of three days per week.
This position is eligible for company sponsored benefits, including medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and a variety of other discounts and perks.
