    The Logistics Production Supervisor will perform a variety of leadership, technical, and business tasks in support of the Inventory, Warehousing, and Shipping functions for Logistics Operations within Raytheon working onsite at the Louisville, KY facility on our 3rd shift with the hours of 9:30 pm - 6:30 a.m. Tasks to be performed will entail providing strong leadership, organizational, technical, & business support for functions within the site’s Logistics Team. This individual will support associated tasks, listed below, which are necessary to provide the highest standards of internal customer service to our factory’s Operations within Production. This position will be directly responsible for supporting Customer Oriented Results and Excellence (C.O.R.E.) with a mindset of continuous improvement.

    What You Will Do

    + Lead a bargaining unit of five to ten (5-10) hourly Team Members by effectively and frequently communicating priorities and shifting priorities as needed.

    + Communicate with Operations and Planning functions nightly to ensure service levels are met.

    + Successfully meets program costs and scheduling requirements.

    + Systematic review of open transfer orders within our Enterprise Resource System: SAP (PRISM) to ensure timely closeout of actions to exceed or maintain our standard service levels for picks, put-aways, & yields.

    + Review stock data and factory needs of chemical consumption and submit a weekly order to ensure continuous access of needed chemicals and supplies.

    + Assimilate weekly & monthly metrics data reports and submit to Logistics Leadership.

    + Coordinate tasks associated with the Inventory Management and integrity.

    + Coordinate tasks associated with Shelf-Life Command Media.

    + Assist in resolving Inventory discrepancies through physical and systematic research.

    + Assist with various 3PL projects, MRP deliverables, inventory slotting.

    Qualifications You Must Have

    + Typically requires a university degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 5 years prior relevant experience or an advanced degree and a minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience.

    + Experience in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, Production, Manufacturing and/or Warehouse.

    Qualifications We Prefer

    + US Customs Regulations Import and Export knowledge.

    + SAP ERP experience

    + Experience in 3PL Logistics

    + Demonstrate experience in managing government furnished material.

    + Inventory Control and material handling knowledge

    + Experience with material requirements and Dock/Receiving/Warehouse/Shipping areas.

    + Demonstrated ability to work with multiple levels of management, industry, peers, a union workforce or business

    + Warehouse Management and Transportation experience

    + Demonstrated leadership experience for 2-4 years

    + Strong ability to communicate with internal & external customers.

    + Exhibit high standards of customer service.

    + Demonstrate proficient knowledge of MS Office Suite, databases, and programs

    + Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

    The salary range for this role is 82,000 USD - 164,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.

     

    RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

     

    This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
