CNM for UNC Health Women's OBGYN Care

UNCPN/ UNC Health Women’s OBGYN Care is seeking a CNM (Certified Nurse Midwife). If this is the position for you please apply!

Responsibilities:

+ Well OB-woman exam

+ Infertility services

+ Pre-pregnancy counseling

+ STD screening and treatment

+ In-office procedures and more

Qualifications:

+ Graduation from an accredited CNM training program

+ One or more years of full panel midwifery experience preferred

+ North Carolina licensed

Education Requirements:

• MSN required.

Licensure/Certification Requirements:

• Must have current or compact RN licensure in the state of North Carolina. Certification as a Nurse Midwife is required.

Professional Experience Requirements:

• Three years of nursing experience in a clinical setting.

Knowledge/Skills/and Abilities Requirements:

• Demonstrated clinical competency.

• Effective leadership skills. Strong interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

• Demonstrated written and verbal communication and strong analytical skills.

• Effective interaction to ensure the successful care of patients in the clinical setting.

• Documentation in the medical record to substantiate accurate billing.
