Become a part of something IMPACT\-ful\! Ground Missile Defense \(GMD\) is the heart of the Missile Defense System and a key element of our nation’s defense against ballistic missile attacks\.
The GMD Weapon System \(GWS\) processes data from multiple sensors to identify and characterize the inbound ballistic missile threat, plans the best defensive solution, and launches the intercepting missiles to negate the threat\.
The Work
The successful candidate will be performing System Reliability & Maintainability \(RAM&T\) Engineering Analysis\. The candidate will be responsible for establishing, monitoring, and verifying subsystem RAM&T performance requirements for all design changes and new development efforts to ensure that RAM&T program requirements are achieved\. The primary responsibility of the position will be reliability, maintainability, and testability\.
Due to the nature of the role, this is not being offered as a teleworking or hybrid position\.

Basic Qualifications:
• U\.S\. Citizenship with an Active Secret clearance
• Bachelor’s Degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics discipline from an accredited university and 5 years of engineering experience OR Master’s Degree in STEM and 3 years of engineering experience OR PhD with 2 years of engineering experience\.
• Experience in Reliability and Maintainability discipline
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Excellent team collaboration and communication skills \(written and oral\)
• Must be able to work on site, in office
Desired Skills:
• Minimum 5 years of experience within Reliability and Maintainability discipline\.
• Perform RAM&T allocations and predictions
• Develop Failure Modes Effects and Criticality Analysis \(FMECA\) analysis
• Perform Built In Test \(BIT\) testability analysis
• Develop mission reliability analysis
• Support the development of teams in the investigation of issues
• Familiarity with Fault Tree Analysis \(FTA\)
• Experience with Failure Reporting Analysis and Corrective Action System \(FRACAS\)
• Experience with maintainability demonstrations
• Experience with Highly Accelerated Life Testing \(HALT\), Reliability Growth Testing \(RGT\), and Environmental Stress Screening \(ESS\)
**Security Clearance Statement:** This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration\.
**Clearance Level:** Secret

**Ability to Work Remotely:** Onsite Full\-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility\.
**Work Schedules:** Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees\. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed\. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits\.
**Schedule for this Position:** 9x80 every other Friday off
