    Job Summary:

    The **Shipping Receiving Clerk** stacks and arranges product and packed containers into crates, boxes, and cartons according to instructions or standard documentation. Applies wrapping, labels, and identification as required. Follows all required safety procedures.

    Essential Functions:

    + Pack, seal, label, or affix postage to prepare materials for transport

    + Organize distribution and shipping of merchandise: Make necessary verifications against documents, prepare the merchandise, move merchandise to the appropriate area, and handle customer pick-ups

    + Ensure products are properly packed and labeled

    + Maintain safe and clean working area

    + Any other task assigned by supervisor or management

    Minimum Qualifications:

    + Experience: 0-1 or more years of Shipping and Receiving experience

    + Knowledge: Knowledge of shipping and receiving processes; Knowledge of 5S principles including the ability to apply them to the work environment; Knowledge of procedures for safely lifting and/or moving packages up to 50 pounds in weight

    + Skills/Abilities: Detail and data orientation; Effective process evaluation and problem solving skills; Ability to multi task in a rapidly changing environment; Ability to maintain positive working relationships with internal customers; Ability to accurately count and identify parts and verify with paper work; Ability to work well in a team setting and under immediate supervision

    + Education/Certification: High School diploma or equivalent

    + **Eligibility Requirement:** This position may require access to Controlled Data or Information. Where the position requires such access only US Persons will be considered. As a US Department of Defense contractor, we are bound by International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + Experience performing work according to standard work instructions

    + Working knowledge of Microsoft Office

    Working Conditions:

    + Working conditions are normal for a manufacturing environment

    + Manufacturing operations may require the use of safety equipment to include but not limited to: eye safety glasses, gowning, masks, hearing protectors, heel/wrist straps and any other required PPE

    + May be exposed to unusual environmental conditions such as loud noises, cold temperatures, confined spaces, dust or fumes

    + Subject to “On-call” duty

    + Standing: 90% *percentage is approximate and may vary depending on work task

    + Sitting: 10% *percentage is approximate and may vary depending on work task

    + Lifting (in pounds): Up to 50 pounds

    + Pushing (in pounds): Up to 50 pounds

    + Mental/Visual: Use of Computer

    + Workspace: Work Bench

    Top Benefits:

    **Salary range: $24.48 to $30.33.** Several factors contribute to actual salary, including experience in a similar role or performing comparable job responsibilities, skills, training, and other qualifications. Some roles may be eligible for participation in performance-based bonus programs.
