    What You'll Do

     

    We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer to join our WSRS CRM team within Retirement Income Solutions. As a key member of our team, you'll play an important role in enhancing our customer relationship management (CRM) capabilities. You'll work on impactful projects including Sales Prospecting optimization and the future implementation of Financial Service Cloud, contributing to improved sales effectiveness and relationship management. Working collaboratively with cross-functional teams, your work will focus on maximizing the value of our Salesforce platform to support our sales and service teams’ daily operations and business objectives.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Conduct analysis, development, and implementation of Salesforce solutions

    + Write clean, efficient code with proper documentation and automated testing

    + Develop custom solutions utilizing Salesforce platform capabilities

    + Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders

    + Perform code reviews and maintain coding standards

    + Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues

    + Implement automated testing and deployment processes

    + Optimize existing solutions for enhanced performance

     

    Who You Are

    We are looking for someone with:

    + Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Technology, Engineering, Math-related field, or equivalent experience

    + 2+ years of work experience

    + 2+ years of Salesforce development experience is required.

    + Proficiency with database applications

    + Knowledge of mainframe, distributed and/or web programming languages

    + Strong attention to detail and commitment to confidentiality

    + Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies

    + Experience working in cross-functional teams

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + Strong proficiency in Apex programming, Lightning Components, and Visualforce

    + Experience with SOQL, SOSL, and Salesforce APIs

    + Knowledge of Salesforce security models and declarative development

    + Salesforce Platform Developer I Certification

    + Experience with Git version control and deployment tools

    + Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

     

    Salary Range Information

     

    Salary ranges below reflect targeted base salaries. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation for all roles will be based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.

     

    Salary Range (Non-Exempt expressed as hourly; Exempt expressed as yearly)

     

    $67500 - $121200 / year

     

    Time Off Program

     

    Flexible Time Off (FTO) is provided to salaried (exempt) employees and provides the opportunity to take time away from the office with pay for vacation, personal or short-term illness. Employees don’t accrue a bank of time off under FTO and there is no set number of days provided.

    This role offers in-office, hybrid (blending at least three office days in a typical workweek), and remote work arrangements (only if residing more than 30 miles from Des Moines, IA, or Charlotte, NC). You’ll work with your leader to figure out which option may align best based on several factors.
