    Associate Creative Director (Timberland)

     

    What will you do?

     

    A day in the life of the Associate Creative Director for Timberland looks a little like this.

     

    Reporting to the Senior Director, Brand Creative, you will be in a leadership role that combines creative vision with strategic thinking, using your exceptional ability to craft compelling long- and short-form copy, with attention to detail in brand voice and messaging with proficiency across diverse formats (e.g., digital campaigns, print, video scripts, and experiential design). This position is located at our New York Showroom, New York City.

    Creative Leadership: Guide and inspire creative teams to develop innovative and impactful brand experiences

     

    Brand Storytelling: Develop and execute compelling narratives that resonate with target audiences

     

    Project Management: Oversee projects from concept to completion, ensuring they meet deadlines, budgets, and quality standards

     

    Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including marketing, strategy, and account management, to ensure alignment and success

     

    Content Strategy: Develop and implement content strategies that support brand goals and objectives.

     

    Creative Execution: Ensure the high-quality execution of creative assets across various channels, including digital, print, and social media

     

    Team Development: Mentor and coach junior creatives, fostering a collaborative and creative environment

     

    What do you need to succeed?

     

    We all have unique skills that we bring to work and celebrate every day. For this role, there are foundational skills you’ll need to succeed and excel. Additionally, while formal education such as a bachelor’s degree in graphic design, marketing or communication or a related field is great to have, we are most interested in your 8+ years of experience and professional achievements in copywriting or content strategy, with 3+ years in a leadership or senior creative role and a strong portfolio showcasing creative work and leadership capabilities.

    The foundational skills you will need in this position are:

    Strong experience in image making and industry relationships

     

    The aptitude to develop and execute innovative and impactful creative concepts.

     

    An understanding of brand strategy and how to translate it into creative executions.

     

    The talent to lead and motivate creative teams.

     

    Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present ideas effectively.

     

    An understanding of the creative industry and emerging trends

    Hiring Range** **:

    $124,960.00 USD - $156,200.00 USD annually

     

    **Incentive Potential** : This position is eligible for additional compensation awards that may include an annual incentive plan, sales incentive, or commission potential.
