    Position Summary** **:

    As the Training Specialist you will be responsible for leading the assessment of training needs, design and develop engaging training programs, and oversee their deployment, delivery, and evaluation for all distribution operations. In this role, you will play a crucial part in enhancing our team's skills and knowledge, ensuring that our operations run smoothly and efficiently.

    **Important Note:** _This position requires full-time, on-site presence at the Hazelton, PA factory, Monday through Friday. Flexibility in scheduling will be necessary to support training efforts for first, second, and weekend operations._

    _Key Responsibilities_** **_:_

    + _Partner with business leads to understand current systems and processes and how they affect/impact the people and products to determine training gaps._

    + _Create a Skills Matrix for the site to reflect core knowledge and skills required by level and function._

    + _Based on identified gaps and consistent with business objectives, create a training and development strategy for the site (includes deployment plan)._

    + _Work with Subject Matter Experts to design and develop training interventions to address identified gaps._

    + _Establish a training and development strategy – to address training needs of all levels (both role and skills)._

    + _Design and embed a variety of blended learning methods in all training programs, to be implemented before, during and after the training event, that will promote application of new learning back on the job._

    + _Establish a training activities monitoring and evaluation system (includes tracking and reporting system)_

    + _Coach Functional Subject Matter Experts/Local Trainers in the application of sound Instructional Design and Adult Learning theory to enable them to participate in the process of creating and delivering effective training._

    + _Coordinate with Organizational Development and Training Team to ensure standardization of core content, training processes and delivery methodologies._

    + _Maintaining organized recordkeeping for documents and training in an audit-ready environment_

    + _Perform other duties as assigned._

    _Experience & Education Requirements_** **_:_

    + _High school diploma or equivalent_

    + _Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field preferred._

    + _Certification such as ASTD (American Society for Training and Development) preferred._

    + _Minimum of 2-3 years of training experience_

    + _Demonstrable evidence of ability to partner with business functions to develop training solutions that provide measurable business impact._

    + _Sound understanding of Adult Learning Paradigms and be able to convey the rationale for specific training interventions to Functional Subject Matter Experts._

    + _Proficiency with the following software/technologies preferred: MS Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel), Articulate, Articulate Storyline and Webex._

    + _Communications Skills are both verbal and written_

    + _Strong organizational and time management_

    + _Ability to design, develop, facilitate, and evaluate training programs_

    + _Experience developing functional training solutions in areas such as Manufacturing, Packaging and/or Supply Chain_

    + _Ability to work independently and meet deadlines._

    + _Maintain effectiveness during major changes in work tasks or the work environment, adjusting effectively to within new work structures, processes, requirements or cultures._

    + _Follows safety rules, SOPs, GMPs and all other company policies and processes._

    + _Physical ability to repetitively walk, kneel, lift, stand, climb, bend, reach, etc. within a manufacturing and/or warehouse environment._
