    Job Overview

     

    Komatsu is currently recruiting for a Welder to work at our Virginia, MN location. This position is represented by a union.

    + Hourly Wages $27.30 - $35.90

    + Sign-on Incentive - $2,000.00

    + Night Shift Differential - $4.00 per hour will be added to base wage rate for each hours worked.

    Responsibilities

    + Proficient at Carbon Arc Gouging

    + Proficient with Oxy/Fuel Torch

    + Understand Weld Symbols

    + Certified Rigging

    + Proficient at Print Reading

    + Proficient at Fitting/Layout

    + Must have experience with a variety of SMAW and FCAW welding electrodes.

    Qualifications

    + Primary focus on a safe work environment and employing safe work practices on a consistent basis.

    + Perform a variety of welding and cutting applications (including air arcing).

    + Lay out and perform complex repairs with a high level of accuracy and quality.

    + Assess equipment repair needs and developing repair processes.

    + Troubleshoot, maintain and perform minor repairs to most assigned tooling; wire feeders and welding machines.

    + Work in a diverse team environment.

    + Ability to use all varieties of precision measuring instruments.

    + Must be able to wear a respirator or fresh air hood when required.
