Purpose:
Hyundai AutoEver America is seeking a talented, customer centric hands-on Application Developer who is passionate about continuous innovation to support the Safety Office portfolio of applications. In this role, individual would bring their A-game to provide day-to-day coaching and thought leadership to application project / ops teams, not limited to design – development - solutioning -maintenance of the sophisticated application components.
Essential Functions:
Web application Architecture, design & development:
+ Architect, design and develop front-facing applications that meet business needs for scalability, performance, and reliability
+ Develop and maintain detailed architecture diagrams, documentation, and best practices for React based applications
+ Design, develop, publish and maintain reference architectures
Optimization and Management:
+ Optimize Infrastructure resources (compute, storage, networking) for cost-effectiveness and performance
+ Monitor application environments to ensure operational efficiency and resolve performance issues
Implementation and Configuration:
+ Deploy and configure web applications for business use
+ Prior experience with establishing data quality standards is a plus
Security and Compliance:
+ Establish and enforce software engineering best practices
+ Ensure that application adheres to organizational policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements
Collaboration and Support:
+ Collaborate with integrated apps for end-to-end integration testing, issue resolution, deployment
+ Provide technical guidance and support for production issues and project work
Continuous Improvement:
+ Stay current with technology stack, new services, and industry trends to continuously improve engineering practices and application landscape
+ Evaluate and recommend new AWS tools and technologies to modernize the application platform

Basic Requirements:
+ Bachelor’s degree in engineering, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications are a plus.
+ Minimum of 8+ years of experience in designing, developing and maintaining React / Nodejs applications, with a strong PL*SQL background in an agile environment. Hands-on experience with using Gitlab, JIRA and CI-CD processes is also a must have.
+ In-depth knowledge of React / Nodejs
+ Proficiency in PL*SQL and automation practices
+ Strong knowledge of CI-CD best practices for code management / deployments
+ Working knowledge of microservices architecture
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effectively interacting with stakeholders and team members
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for troubleshooting and resolving complex application / DB maintenance issues
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Knowledge of DevOps Practices: Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipeline maturation, and related tools is beneficial
+ Prior experience with migrating React based applications to cloud is a plus
+ Prior experience with monitoring tools like SolarWinds, Splunk is highly preferred
Salary Range: $103,170 to $158,873
