Job Description

A large retailer in Northwest Arkansas is seeking an experienced Principal Software Engineer. This individual will be responsible for designing and implementing an AI Chatbot as a platform which can be integrated, leveraged , and supported as a single stop shop for all associate needs. This individual needs a strong background in architectural design and API development, with experience in JavaScript technologies like React Js and Node Js. Additionally, this person should have knowledge in microservices, design patterns, cloud deployments, CI/CD, etc. This individual is expected to take on leadership responsibilities which include spearheading development of innovative solutions, mentor and guide a team of engineers, collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, and contribute to the overall architectural design to ensure it meets business needs.

Skills and Requirements

-3+ years of experience in architectural design and API development for production environment

-8+ years of experience in software engineering

-Experience with JavaScript, React JS, and Node Js

-Experience in building highly scalable systems with messaging queues like Apache Kafka.

-Experience in NoSQL DBs like Cosmos, Cassandra, etc..

-Strong interpersonal skills to coordinate with other organizations across the business while managing customer expectations. null
