    Join our team as a Project Coordinator II in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences! As a Project Coordinator II, you'll be at the forefront of advancing the Texas Child Mental Health Care Consortium (TCHMCC) initiatives, including the Child Psychiatry Access Network (CPAN) and the Perinatal Psychiatry Access Network (PeriPAN). You'll supervise, coordinate, and assist with various projects, conducting outreach and engagement with primary care providers, obstetric providers, and schools across our 19-county area to promote and increase enrollment in these vital programs. Your role will involve utilizing communication methods such as in-person visits, phone calls, and emails to connect with stakeholders. You'll collaborate with the Project Manager to identify and address project needs, ensuring smooth implementation, and manage promotional items and outreach materials. Additionally, you'll maintain and update our extensive referral database using the Trayt system, ensuring accurate provider and clinic information, and train new employees on system usage. Your participation in meetings and presentations, assistance with CPAN/PeriPAN phone coverage, and support in reporting efforts will be crucial in meeting project goals.

     

    The Texas Child Mental Health Care Consortium (TCMHCC) was created by the 86th Texas Legislature to leverage the expertise and capacity of the health-related institutions of higher education to address urgent mental health challenges and improve the mental health care system in this state in relation to children and adolescents.

     

    As a proud member of TCHMCC, Texas A&M Health Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences is looking for a Project Coordinator II to help us fulfill this mission and help drive the success of these vital programs!

    Minimum Qualifications

    + Bachelor’s degree in applicable field or equivalent combination of education or experience

    + Four years of related experience in project coordination/administration

    The well-qualified candidate will also possess

    + Experience working within telehealth or a related field

    + Experience working with primary care physicians

    + Strong oral and written communication skills

    + Literacy and competency with utilizing technology

    + Strong organizational skills and flexibility

    + Knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet applications

    + Knowledge of standard proofreading

    + Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others

    + Ability to prioritize, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines

     

    What you need to know

     

    Salary: Compensation will be commensurate to the selected hire’s experience.

     

    Travel: This position will travel to enrolled and unenrolled clinics for meetings, presentations, and outreach efforts.

     

    Other: Depending upon the nature of your position, you may be required to receive immunizations (excluding COVID and Flu).

    Responsibilities

    + Project Needs: Conducts outreach and engagement with stakeholders throughout our 19-county coverage area, to inform them of the program(s) and to help increase enrollment and utilization of the program(s). Determines project needs related to communication, referral, management of records, and coordination of services. Coordinates project activities including project initiation, value assessments, work plan development, estimating, and project controls. Coordinates with vendors and others in delivering and supporting systems and services.

    + Reporting: Prepares and disseminates reports and other related information to key stakeholders. Monitors and prepares reports on financial activity for assigned projects related to travel and project purchases. Prepares forecasting and progress reporting against milestones, budgetary updates, and the change management process for review.

    + Compliance: Ensures compliance with applicable regulations including HIPAA and FERPA. Assists with forecasting and progress reporting against milestones, budgetary updates, and the change management process. Maintains database integrity, security, and accuracy in documenting. Ensures compliance with applicable regulations. Interprets policies, rules, and regulations and ensures they are followed.
