    Our client, a leader in the office furniture industry, is seeking a Product Engineer to join their team. As a Product Engineer, you will be part of the engineering department supporting innovative product design and development. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong problem-solving abilities, and a collaborative mindset which will align successfully in the organization.

     

    **Job Title:** Product Engineer

    **Location:** GRAND RAPIDS, MI

    **Pay Range:** $60- $65 per hour

     

    What's the Job?

     

    + Conduct large, complex engineering assignments related to the creation, development, and improvement of product designs.

    + Collaborate with engineers, mechanical designers, manufacturing teams, suppliers, and marketing to ensure alignment on engineering drawings prior to tool release.

    + Perform independent studies, analysis, and interpretations to support product development and decision-making.

    + Evaluate dimensional reports and approve parts for production, ensuring high-quality standards are met.

    + Engage in continuous learning and personal development to expand your engineering capabilities and expertise.

     

    What's Needed?

     

    + A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

    + At least 4 years of experience in product engineering, with a strong background in product design.

    + Proficiency in CREO and Windchill software- Preferred

    + Experience in conducting drawing reviews and working with manufacturing facilities and suppliers.

    + Strong analytical skills with the ability to understand and interpret product and tooling cost data.
