Our client, a leader in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a Manufacturing Inspector to join their team. As a Manufacturing Inspector, you will be part of the quality assurance department supporting the production team. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Manufacturing Inspector
**Location:** Clackamas, OR
**Pay Range:** $20-$25 DOE
What's the Job?
+ Perform dimensional and visual inspections of components, both raw material and finished machined to blueprint specifications.
+ Identify non-conforming parts and materials for Material Review Board (MRB) review.
+ Initiate the Non-Conformance Report (NCR) process in the computer system for non-conforming parts and materials.
+ Evaluate blueprints for inspection criteria and assist team members in blueprint interpretation.
+ Assist in equipment calibration and maintenance of the equipment calibration system.
What's Needed?
+ High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or three to four years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
+ Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds occasionally.
+ Familiarity with inspection techniques, including CMM, to improve speed and accuracy of inspection results.
+ Experience with computer systems for accessing programs and documents critical to job performance.
+ Strong commitment to following safety precautions and practices.
