We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our healthcare team. The CNA will provide essential care and support to patients under the supervision of licensed nursing staff. This role is vital in ensuring the comfort, safety, and well-being of patients in hospitals, nursing homes, assisted living facilities, or home care settings.
Job Title:** **Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
**Pay Range:** 17.00 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
+ Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding.
+ Measure and record vital signs including temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure.
+ Help patients with mobility and physical therapy exercises.
+ Monitor patients’ conditions and report any changes to nursing staff.
+ Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients.
+ Assist with medical procedures and equipment as directed by nurses.
+ Provide emotional support and companionship to patients.
+ Document care provided and maintain accurate patient records.
Qualifications:
+ High school diploma or equivalent.
+ Completion of a state-approved CNA training program.
+ Current CNA certification in the state of employment.
+ Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred.
+ Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
+ Ability to work effectively in a team and under supervision.
+ Physical stamina to assist with patient mobility and perform tasks requiring physical effort.
Work Environment:
+ May involve exposure to infectious diseases and bodily fluids.
+ Requires standing, walking, bending, and lifting for extended periods.
+ Shifts may include nights, weekends, and holidays depending on facility needs.
