    Our client in Manchester, IA, is seeking **MIG Welders** to join their family-oriented team on **all shifts** .

     

    You will perform a variety of tasks to support the production of top-quality, customized products. These duties require strong attention to detail to properly prepare equipment for the next stage in a high-quality manufacturing process.

     

    **Job Title:** MIG Welder

    **Location:** Manchester, IA

    Pay Range:

    MIG Welder

     

    1st Shift $23

     

    2nd Shift per hour with a shift premium $2.00 - $4.00

     

    3rd Shift $23 per hour with a shift premium $2.00 - $4.00

    What will you be doing?

     

    + Use templates or measurements to position parts and subassemblies

    + Examine connections for proper fit and assembly

    + Weld parts using hand-held MIG welding equipment

    + Remove excess weld, slag, or splatter using hand tools or grinders

    + Operate overhead cranes to move parts

    + Conduct quality checks with detailed inspection of finished products

     

    What’s needed?

     

    + 1+ years of MIG welding experience

    + Proven ability to weld using a hand-held MIG welder

    + Ability to read blueprints and specifications, and follow procedures

    + Attention to detail and basic understanding of shop math

    + High school diploma or GED

    + 18 years or older

    + Availability to work overtime, including Saturdays
