The stated pay range is based on a national-average location. Actual salary is determined by factors including relevant work experience, skills and location. This position is bonus eligible.
CNO Financial Group’s **Treasury Department** is hiring a **Treasury Specialist** to perform cash management on a multi-billion-dollar portfolio, bank fee management and analysis, and reporting.
This is your opportunity to complete deliverables to internal and external departments and resolve issues with internal parties, banking partners and our treasury workstation vendor. Deliverables will impact daily investment levels and investment income, determine liquidity levels for numerous legal entities and provide detailed information to management.
As a** **Treasury Specialist,** **your responsibilities will include:
+ Act as a subject matter expert, performing daily cash and investment analysis for each legal entity to ensure adequate liquidity levels are maintained to meet operating expense, insurance claim, debt principal and interest, and other payments while optimizing investment balances to maximize investment income opportunities. Researching and resolving any issues, including data accuracy, liquidity levels and investment optimization.
+ Understanding cash and investment data to accurately calculate and initiate funding and concentration wires for legal entities.
+ Ensuring daily investment activity is settled properly including researching and resolving issues directly with banks and internal departments.
+ Completing monthly bank fee analysis, including determining monthly accrual values. Assisting with the annual bank fee budget, including year over year variance explanations.
+ Preparing daily cash and liquidity reports, support documentation, and share repurchase activity reports.
+ Supporting Treasury and Corporate initiatives.
+ Performing ad hoc financial analysis, reconciliation and problem solving as needed to support business.
The Treasury Specialist position** **is well suited for you if you:
+ Are knowledgeable of treasury and cash management practices, including experience within the banking industry.
+ Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel at an intermediate level.
+ Demonstrated accountability for work and attention to detail
+ Have outstanding interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with others.
+ Can multitask on projects daily.
+ Possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
+ Are inquisitive and proactive with solutions around processes and policies.
What you’ll need:
+ Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or eight years of relevant experience.
+ Five years of experience within treasury, banking or a related discipline.
+ Live within a 60-mile radius of our main campus in Carmel, IN.
What will set you apart:
+ Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) designation a plus.
+ Familiarity with Treasury Workstations, GTreasury preferred.
