About The Role:
As a CBRE Senior Manager, Accounting you will be responsible for various accounting and financial planning aspects related to CBRE’s global bonus and equity compensation programs. The ideal candidate would be a self-starter with an analytical approach and be capable of understanding financial modelling and technical accounting concepts. The ability to meet deadlines efficiently with accuracy and completeness and demonstrating solid attention to detail are the keys to success in this position.
The individual will be required to lead 1-2 staff members on a direct and/or matrix basis and collaborate with partners at all levels of the business segments and corporate functions.
This is a high visibility role with the selected candidate having opportunity to interact with senior leaders of CBRE and have excellent career growth prospects within the broader organization.
This is a hybrid role with 2 days a week expected in the Richardson office
What You'll Do:
+ Manage quarterly bonus adjustments and build a consolidated variance analysis dashboard for senior leadership using OneStream; advise on global bonus and profit-sharing programs, and prepare cash flow, expense budgets, forecasts, and long-range plans.
+ Collaborate with global total rewards teams to finalize awards, assumptions, and metrics.
+ Support annual compensation planning by working with regional and local teams to validate, reconcile, and consolidate accruals and funding, and prepare the bonus binder for management review.
+ Consolidate global bonus payouts with ledger accruals and conduct over-under spend analysis.
+ Participate in monthly/quarterly close activities, performing high-level analytics and reconciliations on balance sheet movements (YoY, QoQ, TTM).

+ Bachelor's degree in Accounting and/or Finance from a four-year college or university.
+ Minimum of six years’ experience, including 2-3 years in public accounting and bonus/stock compensation accounting in a corporate controllership environment.
+ CPA (or equivalent) required.
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a proven track record to interact effectively with management, employees, government representatives, and auditors.
+ Ability to translate complex issues to external partners.
+ In-depth understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Financial Accounting Standards (FASB).
+ Proven expertise in financial issues and their economic impact, with strong analytical and quantitative skills.
+ Skilled in forecasting, budget preparation, financial/business analysis, and report preparation.
+ Expert knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping concepts, capable of researching complex accounting issues independently.
+ Strong problem-solving skills, both independently and collaboratively.
+ Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) and experience with financial systems like TM1, PeopleSoft, and OneStream preferred.
+ Knowledge of real estate services and terminology is beneficial, with experience in Savant and Power BI as a plus.
+ Familiarity with external/internal audit and SOX compliance.
+ Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and ability to work autonomously.
+ Diligent and proactive, able to manage and prioritize critical timelines while collaborating across all organizational levels.
+ Works well in a team environment and simplifies complex situations into digestible components.
