Description
The Marketing Intern will work closely with various members of the Business Development and Marketing Department in support of the Firm’s events and business development efforts.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Events
• Assist in venue, speaker, event enhancement and vendor research
• Update RSVP lists for events and monitor RSVP voicemail
• Produce nametags, coordinate handouts/giveaways
• Pack and ship materials to events
• Assist with on-site registration, as needed
• File post-event notes to track event feedback
• Unpack post-event items and restock reusable materials
Business Development:
• Enter representative matters into database
• Send and ship marketing collateral
• Collect and track membership and sponsorship information
• Conduct research on clients/prospects, conferences, potential sponsorships, organization memberships, speaking opportunities, events, and competitive intelligence
• Create, proofread, and revise PowerPoints and other communication materials for attorney speaking engagements, presentations, and pitch opportunities
QUALIFICATIONS (EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES):
+ Some related marketing experience/second or final Co-op preferred
+ Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
+ This job operates in a clerical, office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
