    The Talent Management Intern will work closely with various members of the Talent Management Department in support of the Firm’s Human Resources and Attorney Recruitment efforts.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

    Recruitment:

    + Provide support for the Attorney Recruiting operations.

    + Assist with entering candidate materials and updating candidate statuses in database as candidates move through the interview process.

    + Manage and ship recruitment materials.

    + Unpack post-event items and restock reusable materials.

    + Contribute to event preparation.

    + Assist with coordinating meetings for the attorney recruitment team including scheduling, submitting video conference and hospitality requests, booking conference rooms, and preparing materials.

    + Conduct research on new event venues and giveaway items.

    + Help generate reports and assist with maintaining accurate recruitment data.

    + Maintain search firm agreements and handle processing invoice payments.

    + Assist with various administrative duties and special projects as needed.

    Human Resources:

    + Contribute to administrative support for the Chief Human Resources Officer, Director of Human Resources, Managers, and the HR teams (Benefits and HR), including electronic file creation, electronic filing, maintaining benefit records, scheduling, answering phones, copying and scanning, and check requests.

    + Aid in organizing all new hire paperwork and creating electronic files for each new employee.

    + Help respond to employment verification requests.

    + Assist with maintaining electronic human resources files and employee records.

    + Provide support to the benefits team during the annual open enrollment, special enrollment periods, and the rollout of new programs.

    + Help organize, schedule, and conduct orientation for new hires, including sending out calendar appointments, confirmation emails and preparing new hires for their first day.

    + Assist with coordinating meetings for HR team; scheduling, submitting video conference and hospitality requests, booking conference rooms, and preparing materials.

    + Handle all other administrative duties and special projects as assigned.

    QUALIFICATIONS (EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES):

    + Some related human resources or recruitment experience/second or final Co-op preferred

    + Strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills.

    + Strong administrative skills (typing, phone manners, etc.).

    + Strong computer skills to manage various candidate tracking and budget spreadsheets and databases.

    + Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.

    + Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

    + Ability to work well in a team environment.

    WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

    + This job operates in a clerical, office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
