A large enterprise client of ours is hiring a Senior DevOps engineer who can join them in a fully remote contract throughout the remainder of this year. This position helps with the completion of migration work from AWS to GCP mainly for M&A projects. This company is a leading provider of credit reports in the nation.

This role will be hands-on, supporting an effort for refactoring and re-platforming AWS environments to GCP. There is a ton of work to do to ensure a stable maintainable process, so automation is a prime goal. You will be utilizing Terraform, Kubernetes, Helm, GitHub Actions, and Datadog mainly in this position.

**Contract Duration:** 1 year contract

Required Skills & Experience

+ 6+ years of experience as a DevOps/SRE engineer

+ Exceptional knowledge of building tooling in GCP environments

+ Ability to work hands-on to scale GKE clusters

+ Strong knowledge of Terraform

+ Prior experience leading teams for enterprise level projects

+ Automation expertise with CI/CD pipelines using ArgoCD / GitHub Actions

+ Alerting and Monitoring experience with Datadog / PagerDuty

Desired Skills & Experience

+ Strong written and verbal communication skills

+ At home set up for working remotely

+ Google Cloud certifications

+ BS in CS or similar degree

+ Experience in SaaS environments
