    About this role:

    Wells Fargo is seeking Loan Servicing Representatives to join the Guaranteed Asset Protection (GAP) Insurance Claims team in our Operations group. This team provides assistance to customers with GAP insurance who have suffered a total loss to their vehicle.

    In this role, you will:

    + Support a variety of loan servicing tasks, including reviewing loan origination and insurance documents, processing GAP claim packets, customer informational letters, and following up on the GAP claim for payment

    + Identify opportunities to improve loan servicing process within established procedures

    + Provide excellent customer service at all points of contact

    + Manage a pipeline of work to ensure service level agreements (SLAs) are met

    + Compile all necessary documents related to GAP claims, which may include but are not limited to purchase orders, GAP contracts, insurance documents, customer account transaction history, vehicle invoice, etc.

    + Respond to moderate to complex written and phone inquiries from customers, GAP administrators, dealerships, and internal business partners, related to various loan servicing functions

    + Regularly receive direction from Loan Servicing managers

    + Provide guidance to less experienced peers and support partners

    + Use relevant information and independent judgment to perform administrative, transactional, operational, and/or customer support tasks

    Required Qualifications:

    + 2+ years of Loan Servicing experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

    Desired Qualifications:

    + Experience in the automotive industry

    + Financial and/or Insurance industry experience

    + Customer service focus and the ability to effectively address and resolve customer issues

    + Strong telephone etiquette skills with the ability to manage both inbound and outbound calls

    + Ability to collaborate and negotiate with customers, GAP administrators, dealerships, and internal business partners as needed

    + Ability to manage a high-volume pipeline of work from assignment to completion

    + Intermediate Microsoft Office skills

    + Proven analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy

    + Ability to exercise independent judgment to identify and resolve problems

    + Strong organizational, multi-tasking, prioritizing, and the ability to meet deadlines

    + Ability to navigate multiple computer systems, applications, and utilize search tools to find information

    + Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

    + Ability to work effectively in a team environment
