We're looking for a Senior Product Manager Technical to deliver internal Controllership products that will help our Finance customers improve processes, enhance controllership and reduce manual effort through automation.

We are seeking an experienced, results-oriented, self-motivated Technical Product Manager, having a history of solving complex problems and delivering high quality technical products. You will be responsible for developing product strategy, defining product requirements working with global internal finance teams, influencing stakeholders and engineering teams required to deliver an impactful product.

The ideal candidate for this role will have strong ownership, business and product sense combined with a solid understanding of financial and accounting concepts. You will need to thrive and succeed in an entrepreneurial environment without being hindered by ambiguity. High judgment, ability to influence, analytical talent, exceptional communications, the ability to partner with technical and non-technical stakeholders and leadership are essential to success in this role.

In this position, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including FGBS Fintech, Amazon Stores Fintech (ASFT), Amazon Stores Finance Science (ASFS), Controllership and Risk Management teams across various finance domains. You will lead implementation of automated control systems by integrating and deploying new features across COMPASS technical platforms, including SpendCentral and Controllership Hub (C-Hub).

Key job responsibilities

• Develop and drive product vision and strategy for innovative financial systems

• Incorporate diverse customer needs into a prioritized product roadmap

• Identify and execute product-led finance process transformation

• Influence tech design and ensure alignment with customer needs

• Track relevant metrics to measure customer impact and organizational goals

• Facilitate communication and alignment between teams

• Support development of tools enhancing reporting and compliance capabilities

• Collaborate with engineering to deliver high-impact, scalable solutions

• Optimize product performance, adoption, and customer impact

Basic Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree

- 5+ years of technical product or program management experience

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience owning feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product

- Experience in building and driving adoption of new tools

- Experience with end to end product delivery

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $136,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $235,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
