    Job Description​

    **The Opportunity:** Saint Luke’s East Hospital of Lee's Summit, MO is seeking a Surgical Technologist to assist with surgical procedures, providing a safe environment in compliance with agency policies and procedures. The Surgical Technologist at Saint Luke's East Hospital works within the organizational structure of the Operating Room, assists in the delivery of direct primary care to the patient experiencing surgical intervention.

    Position Details:

    PRN surg tech shift commitment is a minimum of 3 core shifts every 6 weeks, 1-2 call shifts every 6 weeks, 1 holiday call shift annually and/or 1 hard-to-staff call shift annually.

     

    Shift openings/day of week will vary with unit need. Core day shifts are either 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM or 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM. Night call shifts are 5:00 PM until 6:30 AM Monday-Friday, and 7:00 PM until 7:00 AM on the weekends.

    Experience:

    • Surgical Setting Experience ( _CVOR, General, Ortho, ENT, ambulatory surgery center - ASC_ )

    • New graduates of Surgical Technologist Program, welcome to apply

    • Ability to scrub a variety of cases
