Description

We are partnering with a civil litigation firm based in Los Angeles, seeking a qualified Litigation Paralegal to join their legal team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various areas of civil litigation in both state and federal courts. This is a full time, contract-to-hire role.

Responsibilities

+ Drafting discovery responses

+ Propounding discovery

+ Drafting, formatting, and proofreading and pleadings and legal documents

+ Communicating and coordinating with clients and opposing counsel

+ Preparing documents for filing with the State and Federal Courts

+ Filing documents with the State Court; and Federal Court on occasion

Experience

+ 3+ years of experience as a Paralegal in a law firm setting

+ Full-time, 40 hours a week Monday - Friday

+ Familiarity with litigation processes and procedures.

+ Strong written and communication skills;

+ Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
