Description

We are looking for an experienced Audit and Tax Manager to join our dedicated services team in Southlake, Texas. In this role, you will oversee the preparation and review of complex tax returns, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced tax expert to contribute to a well-established and growth-focused organization.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the preparation and review of intricate tax returns, including partnerships, corporations, and other business entities.

• Collaborate with clients to provide strategic tax planning and advisory services.

• Ensure compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations at federal, state, and local levels.

• Lead and mentor a team of tax experts, fostering growth and development.

• Stay updated on changes in tax legislation and assess their impact on clients.

• Work closely with other departments to support cross-functional initiatives and ensure seamless service delivery.

• Develop and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor on tax-related matters.

• Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices to enhance efficiency.

• Assist in the resolution of complex tax issues, including audits and appeals.

Requirements

• A minimum of 7 years of experience in tax management within public accounting or a similar setting.

• Expertise in preparing and reviewing complex tax returns, including partnerships and corporations.

• In-depth knowledge of federal, state, and local tax regulations.

• Proven ability to manage and mentor a team of tax experts.

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to resolve complex tax issues.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to build and maintain client relationships.

• CPA certification or equivalent qualification is required.

• Proficiency in tax preparation software and other relevant accounting tools.
