    Description

    We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to manage and optimize the flow of goods, services, and information across our supply chain. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in ensuring timely delivery, cost-efficiency, and effective communication between vendors, stakeholders, and transportation services.     Key Responsibilities:

    + Supply Chain Coordination: Plan, coordinate, and monitor the movement of goods and materials from suppliers to customers to ensure on-time delivery (Source: MC24 Job Search Guide US eBook.pdf).

    + Shipment Management: Schedule, track, and manage shipments, ensuring compliance with transportation regulations and company policies.

    + Vendor Relations: Communicate with suppliers, third-party logistics providers, and internal departments to resolve issues, negotiate rates, and maintain effective relationships.

    + Documentation: Prepare and maintain logistics documents, including shipping schedules, purchase orders, invoices, and customs paperwork.

    + Inventory Management: Oversee inventory levels and collaborate with warehouse staff to optimize stock control and replenish supplies as needed.

    + Problem-Solving: Address and resolve any issues or delays in the supply chain while identifying opportunities for process improvement.

    + Data and Reporting: Analyze logistics data to generate reports on key performance metrics (KPIs) such as delivery times, costs, and inventory levels.

    + Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all shipments and logistics operations comply with local, national, and international regulations.

    Requirements

    Qualifications:

    + Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, business management, or a related field is preferred.

    + Proven experience in logistics, supply chain, or a related role.

    + Strong understanding of logistics software and inventory management systems (e.g., SAP, ERP, or TMS platforms).

    + Familiarity with domestic and international shipping regulations and customs processes.

    Key Skills:

    + Organizational Skills: Ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities while ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

    + Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to work effectively with vendors, stakeholders, and team members (Source: Robert Half | Maximizing Communication Tips).

    + Problem-Solving: Ability to proactively identify and resolve logistical challenges.

    + Analytical Thinking: Competency in analyzing data, trends, and metrics to optimize efficiency and reduce costs.

    + Detail-oriented with the ability to thrive in a deadline-driven environment.
