Description We are looking for a dedicated Patient Account Representative to join our team in Lompoc, California. In this long-term contract position, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth administration of patient accounts and claims while utilizing your expertise in healthcare systems and billing processes. This opportunity is ideal for individuals who are passionate about delivering exceptional service and are skilled in navigating complex systems and appeals processes.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and process patient claims efficiently using healthcare systems such as Allscripts, Cerner, and Epic Software.

• Utilize Dynamic Data Exchange (DDE) to monitor and update patient account information accurately.

• Handle billing functions and benefit administration to ensure timely and accurate payments.

• Review and process appeals to resolve claim discrepancies and ensure proper reimbursement.

• Collaborate with clinical trial teams to oversee patient accounts related to study operations.

• Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational policies while managing patient accounts.

• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving account-related issues.

• Analyze data and generate reports to support decision-making and performance monitoring.

• Work closely with other departments to streamline account processes and improve efficiency. Requirements • Proven experience with healthcare systems such as Allscripts, Cerner Technologies, and Epic Software.

• Proficiency in Dynamic Data Exchange (DDE) for effective data handling.

• Strong knowledge of claims administration, billing functions, and benefit operations.

• Familiarity with appeals processes and the ability to resolve claim discrepancies.

• Background in managing patient accounts within clinical trial operations is a plus.

• Excellent organizational and communication skills to provide outstanding service.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills for accurate reporting and account management.
