Robert Half has partnered with a well-respected law firm in the Greater Seattle Area to help identify a skilled Personal Injury Paralegal who thrives in fast-paced environments and is ready to make an immediate impact. This exciting opportunity begins as a contract position with strong potential for extension or conversion to a permanent role, offering a chance to grow with a dynamic legal team.

Pay Rate: $28-35 per hour

Duration: 6+ months, potential for contract to hire for the right fit!

Schedule: M-F, 8am-5pm

Responsibilities:

+ Draft and prepare legal documents specifically for personal injury cases, including complaints, motions, affidavits, and discovery responses, ensuring compliance with state and federal court requirements

+ Conduct detailed legal research focusing on case law, statutes, regulations, and precedents relevant to personal injury claims such as motor vehicle accidents, premises liability, and wrongful death

+ Oversee and manage the discovery phase for personal injury cases by issuing subpoenas for medical records, organizing evidence such as accident reports and witness statements, indexing case documents, and reviewing deposition transcripts. Collaborate with attorneys to ensure all materials are available and well-prepared for litigation

+ Assist attorneys with trial preparation, including creating and organizing exhibits, summarizing trial transcripts, coordinating expert and fact witnesses (e.g., doctors, accident reconstruction specialists), managing court deadlines, and maintaining case calendars to ensure compliance with trial schedules

Requirements

+ Minimum of 3+ years of experience as a paralegal, with a strong focus on personal injury law

+ Proven trial experience is a significant advantage and highly desirable

+ Strong organizational and research skills tailored to handling personal injury discovery and trial preparation processes

The salary range for this position is $28-35/hr. Benefits available to contract/temporary professionals, include medical, vision, dental, and life and disability insurance.
