Description
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Office Assistant to join our client in the west metro, Minnesota area. This contract-to-permanent position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to the seamless operation of office activities while gaining valuable experience in administrative support. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and bring strong organizational skills to the role. Responsibilities:
+ Manage day-to-day office operations, ensuring the workplace remains organized and functional.
+ Monitor office supplies inventory, coordinating with vendors to ensure timely replenishment.
+ Maintain accurate records of IT equipment and coordinate with teams for repairs, upgrades, and replacements.
+ Assist in onboarding and offboarding processes by preparing necessary IT tools for employees.
+ Oversee maintenance schedules and vendor coordination.
+ Provide administrative support by scheduling meetings, preparing reports, and organizing events.
+ Handle incoming and outgoing mail, courier arrangements, and general correspondence.
+ Assist in planning team-building activities and corporate events to promote a positive work environment.
+ Ensure compliance with company policies and safety standards related to office operations.
+ Troubleshoot minor IT issues and escalate complex problems to the appropriate support teams.
Requirements
+ Previous experience in administrative roles or office management is preferred.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Word and other computer programs relevant to administrative tasks.
+ Strong verbal and written communication skills with a focus on customer service.
+ Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and maintain attention to detail under pressure.
+ Familiarity with inventory management software and basic IT troubleshooting.
+ Experience with billing functions, payroll, and clerical duties is a plus.
+ Collaborative team player with adaptability to fast-paced environments.
+ Strong organizational skills paired with the ability to maintain accurate records.
