    Robert Half Finance & Accounting has partnered with an area non-profit organization as they look to add an experienced Accountant to their team. Are you an accounting professional with a passion for detail and a heart for service? Use your expertise in QuickBooks and financial management to make a meaningful difference with the organization

    What You’ll Do:

    + Manage payroll, accounts payable, and tax reporting with precision.

    + Prepare insightful financial reports that support our mission-driven initiatives.

    + Collaborate with committees, external IT professionals, vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth financial operations.

    + Administer employee benefits, ACH transactions, and banking activities to support the organization's diverse needs.

    + Participate in staff meetings, assist visitors, and supervise volunteer staff.

    Requirements

    What We’re Looking For:

    + Education: Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent experience.

    + Experience: 5+ years of professional accounting experience, preferably with non-profits (but not required)

    + Skills: Proficiency in QuickBooks (REQUIRED), payroll, and general bookkeeping.

    + Traits: Self-directed, detail-oriented, and compassionate about serving others. (a 'customer service attitude' and 'team player'!)
