Description

Lana Funkhouser with Robert Half is hiring a Site Controller to lead financial operations and support HR functions at a growing onsite location. Relocation assistance available! This role is ideal for someone hands-on, resourceful, and ready to make an impact across departments. Key Responsibilities:

Analyze financial statements and explain key variances in the general ledger (GL).

Handle transactional accounting: sales memos, debit memos, month-end and quarter-end close activities.

Perform GL reconciliations and resolve discrepancies with precision.

Solve complex financial issues independently and implement long-term solutions.

Oversee inventory processes including market cost tracking, average cost calculations, and variance analysis.

Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations, including SOX audits.

Act as a liaison between sales, operations, and finance to improve communication and workflow.

Requirements

+ Strong knowledge of financial statements, GL research, and variance analysis.

+ Experience with transactional accounting and closing activities.

+ Proficiency in GL reconciliations and inventory accounting.

+ Problem-solving acumen with the ability to work independently.

+ Experience in HR administration, including payroll, benefits, compliance, and employee relations.

+ Comfortable working in a decentralized environment with remote support.

Preferred:

+ Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field.

+ CPA or equivalent financial credentials.

+ Prior experience leading HR initiatives or projects.
