**Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA)** is looking for a **First-Line Tooling Manufacturing Manager (level K** ) to support the **Auburn Tooling Services (ATS) Team** based out of **Auburn or Puyallup, Washington** on **2nd shift** .

The successful candidate will have strong interpersonal and coaching skills that will further enable our business unit to embrace and elevate the One BPS culture, tools and key performance indicators. Likewise, Manufacturing embraces a first pass quality culture and this requires our leaders to be committed to ownership and accountability of our team member’s success. FOD free product and clean as you go is also a component of our production system and this also requires a steadfast commitment to our standards, our people and our customer.

Position Responsibilities:

+ Manages employees performing activities in multiple Tooling manufacturing disciplines.

+ Develops and executes business plans, policies and procedures and develops organizational and technical strategies.

+ Acquires resources, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements.

+ Drive the implementation of OneBPS and Tooling Rate Readiness projects to support on time deliveries within the department – is this still current responsibility of this role?

+ Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports.

+ Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes. Manages, develops and motivates employees.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite in Auburn or Puyallup, Washington.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

+ 3+ years of experience working in an aerospace, fabrication, or manufacturing environment.

+ 3+ years of experience with continuous process improvement initiatives.

+ 1+ years of experience leading teams in a formal and /or informal leadership role.

+ Ability to work variable shifts, including weekends and overtime.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

+ 3+ years of experience in aerospace tooling or equipment drawing

+ 3+ years of experience in working to lead and develop teams to execute to safety, quality, and cost

+ 3+ years of experience collaborating with cross functional teams

+ 3+ years of experience with Quality Management Systems and/or One Boeing Production System (One BPS)

+ 3+ years of experience with Project Management

**Summary Pay Range:** $115,900 -$140,300
