    **Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA)** is looking for a **First-Line Manufacturing** **Manager (Fabrication)** to support the **Emergent Operations Team** based out of **Auburn, Washington** on 2nd shift.

     

    As a member of the Leadership team, you will continuously lead and develop Manufacturing Teams. A successful candidate will have strong interpersonal and coaching skills that will further enable our business unit to embrace and elevate a One BPS culture, driving a deep understanding of the One BPS principles, standards, production health and problem-solving model.

    Position Responsibilities:

    + Leads employees performing activities in multiple manufacturing subject areas.

    + Develops and implements business plans, policies and procedures and develops organizational and technical strategies.

    + Acquires resources, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements.

    + Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, peers, partners and direct reports.

    + Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes.

    + Leads, develops and motivates employees.

     

    This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite in Auburn, Washington.

    Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

    + 3+ years of experience in Aerospace, Fabrication, or manufacturing environment

    + 1+ years of experience leading teams in a formal and /or informal leadership role.

    + 1+ years of experience with continuous process improvement initiatives.

    + Proficiency with Microsoft Office ()

    + Ability to work variable shifts, including weekends and overtime.

    Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

    + 1+ years of experience with Quality Management Systems and/or One Boeing Production System (One BPS)

    + 1+ years of experience managing Key Performance Indicators within Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost and Manufacturing data

    + 1+ years of experience communicating to employees, customers, peers and all levels of leadership

    **Summary Pay Range:** $115,900 -$140,300
