    Job Description:

    Client is seeking a capable and safety-focused Flight Support Assistant to support flight testing operations for our next-generation drone technology. This role is essential to maintaining safe, efficient, and disciplined test operations, working closely with the flight team in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate demonstrates attention to detail, sound judgment, and a strong commitment to safety and flight procedures.

    Key Responsibilities:

    * Collaborate with team members during crewed field and flight test operations

    * Serve as a qualified Visual Observer (VO) during drone flights

    * Perform preparation and handling of drones and ground equipment as part of the support crew

    * Assist with flight readiness checks, logistics coordination, and equipment staging

    * Participate in daily crew briefings and flight mission planning

    * Help maintain a safe and compliant operational environment

    * Support care and upkeep of test equipment and work areas

    * Demonstrate self-motivation, accountability, and reliability in a dynamic team setting

    * Perform other duties as assigned to ensure safe and successful test execution

    Basic Qualifications:

    * FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate (required)

    * Valid driver"s license and ability to meet Client driver eligibility requirements

    * Strong verbal communication and reporting skills

    * Proficiency with basic computer tools and systems

    * Ability to work effectively as part of a coordinated team

    * Capable of standing for extended periods and performing repeated physical movements, including lifting and carrying of items up to 50 lbs

    * Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment

     

    Export Control License: This position may require a deemed export control license for compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Placement is contingent on Client's ability to apply for and obtain an export control license on your behalf.

     

    This position may be subject to Department of Transportation (DOT) drug and alcohol testing if conducting safety sensitive functions as defined by the FAA. This includes pre-employment drug testing, random drug and alcohol testing, and testing in the event of an accident or incident. Employees must also submit to reasonable suspicion drug and alcohol testing when necessary. The FAA has strict requirements for drug testing, including the types of drugs tested for, the procedures for collecting and testing samples, and the consequences for a positive test. Federal law also requires Client to determine an applicant's DOT drug and/or alcohol testing history prior to hiring him/her into a position that would require them to conduct safety sensitive functions as defined by the FAA.
