    JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

    * Define, design, develop, test, certify and improve cutting-edge software products.

    * Perform coding, debugging, testing, and troubleshooting of systems and software throughout our development process.

    * Responsible for the design and development of new software products throughout the product lifecycle. * Frequently walk, sit, stand, climb stairs and steps.

    * Frequently repeat same hand, arm, and finger motion many times to include finger and hand dexterity.

    * Rarely lifting or carrying up to 20 lbs.

    * Rarely exposed to outdoor elements (high/low temperatures, sun, rain/snow, etc.)

    * Rarely exposed to fumes or hazardous chemicals/materials.

    * Rarely exposed to loud noises

    REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    * Bachelor's of Science degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or other related discipline and typically 8 or more years of relevant experience

    * Expertise in working with Linux-based Operating Systems, with a strong preference for RedHat or its equivalents.

    * Deep understanding and mastery of industry-standard object-oriented programming languages such as C++ and Java.

    * Advanced scripting skills in languages such as Python and Bash (Bourne-Again Shell), or equivalent.

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    * Extensive experience with a broad range of software tools for requirements tracking, code reviews, static analysis, library and artifact repository management, and automated build processes.

    * Expert knowledge of software development methodologies, including Agile/Scrum and Waterfall.

    * Extensive experience collaborating in multi-disciplinary teams.

    * Comprehensive knowledge of engineering principles and industry best practices.

    * Proficiency in performing complex Linux OS System Administration tasks.

    * In-depth understanding of and experience with common data structures (e.g., linked lists, hash tables, contiguous memory) and their optimal utilization in complex software systems.
