Project Manager – Donor Relations
Duration: 3–6 Month Contract
Schedule: 40 hours/week, Hybrid (3 days onsite)
We are seeking a Project Manager with donor relations and nonprofit fundraising experience to support a mission-driven organization through a 3–6 month contract engagement. Based in downtown Dallas, this hybrid role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by managing key donor communication workflows and supporting development operations with precision and care.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Oversee and manage donor touchpoints, tiers, and acknowledgment communications within a CRM platform.
+ Coordinate cross-functional activities and requests across multiple internal departments and external partners.
+ Build, maintain, and manage project plans, timelines, and workflows in Asana.
+ Track critical deadlines for high-priority communications and deliverables, including executive acknowledgments.
+ Support reporting and data analysis needs using tools such as Microsoft Excel and Power BI (preferred).
Requirements
Project Manager – Donor Relations
Top 3 Must-Haves:
+ Experience in nonprofit development, donor relations, or fundraising (3+ years strongly preferred).
+ Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal; ability to tailor communications on behalf of executive leadership (including the CEO).
+ Proficiency in CRM systems, Microsoft Excel (data entry, sorting/filtering, formulas), and preferably Power BI.
Preferred Experience:
+ Prior work in donor stewardship or campaign coordination roles.
+ Background in managing acknowledgments and high-touch donor correspondence.
+ Familiarity with Asana or similar project management tools.
+ Detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to thrive in a deadline-driven environment.
