    Description

    Robert Half is partnering with a respected non-profit organization to recruit a compassionate and experienced Helpline Counselor. This is a meaningful opportunity to make a difference in your community by providing emotional support, crisis intervention, and resource referrals to individuals in need.

    Schedule:

    + First 90 days: Monday – Friday, 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM

    + After 90 days: Overnight shift

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Answer calls and messages on the helpline, providing empathetic support to individuals in crisis or distress

    + Assess needs and risk levels to determine appropriate interventions and referrals

    + Maintain accurate and confidential documentation of each interaction

    + Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure quality and consistency in service delivery

    + Participate in ongoing training and supervision to support professional growth

    Requirements

    + Previous experience in crisis intervention, counseling, or a related field is required

    + Bilingual in English and Spanish (verbal and written) is required

    + Strong communication, problem-solving, and active listening skills

    + Ability to remain calm and effective under pressure

    + Comfortable working independently, especially during overnight hours

    + Familiarity with local community resources is a plus
