    Are you an experienced financial leader with a passion for driving organizational success through strategic financial oversight and innovative process improvements? We are seeking a skilled Controller to oversee the financial operations of multiple entities under a common ownership group. This role directly partners with senior leadership, delivering actionable insights and ensuring compliance with financial regulations and best practices.

    Position Overview

    As the Controller, you will be instrumental in maintaining best-in-class internal controls, preparing financial reports, and driving financial strategies that align with the company’s goals. In addition to managing a broad range of accounting functions, you will mentor and develop a high-performing accounting team while continuously identifying opportunities for process and systems improvement. The role also involves active participation in audits and ensuring adherence to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).

    Key Responsibilities

    + Stay current on accounting standards and regulations while providing thought leadership on implementing changes and ensuring GAAP compliance.

    + Oversee the preparation and management of financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports, to provide critical insights into financial performance.

    + Ensure a comprehensive system of internal controls to safeguard assets and mitigate financial risks.

    + Lead and manage accounting functions including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, fixed assets, and expense management, while maintaining accurate records to support reporting.

    + Manage and mentor the accounting team, ensuring accuracy and productivity in day-to-day activities.

    + Partner with leadership and financial consultants to develop strategic financial plans, prepare budgets, and monitor performance against targets to identify areas for cost reduction or efficiencies.

    + Prepare dashboards and financial summaries, presenting insights and recommendations to senior management.

    + Coordinate with external auditors during quarterly and annual audits to provide necessary financial data.

    + Identify, recommend, and implement new processes, technologies, and systems to streamline financial processes and resource utilization.

    + Promote and embody the corporate vision, mission, and values across the company’s operations and community presence.

    + Perform additional duties as assigned to support organizational objectives.

    SALARY RANGE: $110,000 - $125,000

    Requirements

    + Excellent communication skills to collaborate with leadership and present complex financial data clearly.
