Description We are looking for an experienced Tax Manager to lead and oversee the tax preparation team at a growing national tax resolution firm based in Las Vegas, Nevada. This role requires an experienced and detail-oriented tax expert with a strong background in tax return preparation and leadership experience. Ideal candidates will bring expertise in individual and corporate tax filings, as well as the ability to streamline processes and ensure compliance.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the preparation and review of individual, corporate, partnership, and trust tax returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

• Develop and maintain supporting schedules and detailed workpapers for tax filings.

• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries and gathering necessary information.

• Conduct regular calls and meetings with stakeholders to discuss tax matters and updates.

• Provide leadership and guidance to a team of six tax preparers, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.

• Monitor and ensure adherence to tax regulations and reporting standards.

• Identify opportunities to improve tax preparation processes and implement best practices.

• Assist with additional responsibilities and special projects as assigned. Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax return preparation, including individual and corporate filings.

• Enrolled Agent (EA) certification or equivalent qualification preferred.

• Proficiency in accounting software such as Drake, CaseWare, LaCerte, CCH ProSystem FX.

• Strong knowledge of compliance, annual income tax provisions, and entity formation.

• Proven leadership skills with experience managing a team in a tax preparation setting.

• Excellent communication abilities for client interactions and team collaboration.

• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple tax projects.

• Ability to adapt to changing tax regulations and implement necessary updates.
