Robert Half Legal is partnering with a large plaintiff-side auto consumer warranty law firm located in Westwood, CA, in their search for a talented Civil Litigation Attorney. This role commences as a contract position with the potential to transition to a permanent, full-time role for the right candidate.

About the Firm

The firm specializes in representing plaintiffs in auto consumer warranty cases, focusing on civil litigation involving defective vehicles and related consumer protections. They have a proven track record of successfully advocating for clients and ensuring favorable resolutions in warranty disputes.

Responsibilities

+ Handle the day-to-day management of a large caseload of auto consumer warranty cases.

+ Draft and file pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.

+ Conduct discovery, interrogatories, and document reviews.

+ Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, court personnel, and other stakeholders.

+ Ensure compliance with filing deadlines and procedural requirements in California courts.

Requirements

Requirements

+ Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

+ Active California State Bar license, in good standing.

+ Familiarity with California consumer warranty law and/or Lemon Law is highly desirable, but not required.

+ Strong written and verbal communication skills.

+ Ability to manage multiple cases effectively and work within tight deadlines.

+ Proficiency in legal research and litigation technologies.

+ Ability to reliably commute to the firm's office location in Westwood, CA.
