    Description

    WWe are seeking an experienced Treasurer to join our team in Detroit, Michigan. This is a critical leadership position responsible for managing the company’s global financial operations, including cash management, debt portfolio oversight, and risk mitigation. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with deep treasury expertise, strong leadership capabilities, and a proven track record of optimizing financial performance in a global environment.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Oversee global cash management to ensure liquidity optimization, accurate forecasting, and effective intercompany funding.

    + Design and execute strategies to mitigate foreign exchange and interest rate risks.

    + Manage relationships with international banking partners; negotiate credit facilities and ensure compliance with financial covenants.

    + Lead the management of the corporate debt portfolio, maintaining an efficient capital structure and securing cost-effective financing solutions.

    + Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards, including Dodd-Frank, and oversee derivative trading documentation.

    + Administer the global insurance program, identifying potential risks, managing policy placements, and overseeing claims.

    + Develop and enforce treasury policies and internal controls in alignment with corporate governance standards.

    + Provide strategic financial support for M& A transactions, including funding strategies and integration planning.

    + Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including FP& A, Tax, Legal, and Accounting to support enterprise-wide financial initiatives.

    + Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing treasury team, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.

    Qualifications:

    + Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or CPA/CFA preferred.

    + 10+ years of treasury or corporate finance experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.

    + Strong knowledge of global banking systems, capital markets, and financial instruments.

    + Demonstrated experience managing complex global cash and debt portfolios.

    + Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.

    + Proficiency in treasury management systems and ERP platforms.
