As a Full Charge Bookkeeper your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Prepare and submit monthly state sales and use tax filings in compliance with regulations.

• Create journal entries as needed to maintain accurate financial records.

• Reconcile accounts, including bank statements, credit cards, and customer maintenance contract accruals.

• Provide support for office staff, customers, and vendor accounts to ensure smooth operations.

• Utilize accounting software systems to manage and track financial data efficiently.

• Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable processes with precision.

• Conduct annual budget preparation and cash flow analysis to inform financial decision-making.

• Maintain organized and up-to-date financial documentation for audits and reporting purposes.

• Collaborate with team members to improve accounting workflows and processes.

Requirements

The ideal Full charge Bookkeeper candidate will have:

• High school diploma or equivalent, Associates of Arts Degree or higher in Accounting or Business preferred

• A minimum of 3-5 years of relevant bookkeeping experience.

• Proficiency in accounting software systems, including Great Plains (GPAC) and ADP.

• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel for financial analysis and reporting.

• Strong understanding of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general accounting functions.

• Experience in preparing annual budgets and conducting cash flow analysis.

• Ability to reconcile complex accounts and resolve discrepancies effectively.

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with team members and assist customers.
