Robert Half Finance & Accounting is offering an exciting opportunity for a Bookkeeper/Accounting Clerk with a well established client in West Palm Beach. This in office role will be a key player on the Accounting team collaborating with multiple departments and working on various accounting tasks and operational responsibilities. In addition, there is the potential for professional development opportunities and ability to learn more accounting tasks as the role progresses.

Responsibilities:

• Balance intercompany accounts and resolve any discrepancies

• Contribute to various projects within the department as needed

• Use ERP software for daily tasks, journal entries, and reconciliations

• Support the financial department with daily accounting tasks

• Assist with both Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable

• Reclassify division-related expenses on a monthly basis

• Review, process, and prepare journal entries for expense reports

• Reconcile various accounts, vendor statements, and customer statements

• Research discrepancies, collect and analyze information, and propose solutions

• Assist with month-end tasks and procedures.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years recent & relevant accounting experience

• Proven proficiency in Account Reconciliation

• Demonstrable experience with Accounts Payable (A/P) & Accounts Receivable (A/R) processes

• Experience with Bank Reconciliations

• Degree not required, but would be a plus

• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel

• Ability to manage deadlines, have attention to detail and work independently
