    Robert Half is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented IT professional with strong customer service skills and foundational knowledge in workstation, server, and networking systems. The Field Engineer will focus on assessing client IT environments, deploying new infrastructure solutions, onboarding, and ongoing on-site support for Managed Service customers.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Consult with customers to understand their technology needs and provide tailored solutions.

    + Maintain, support, and optimize IT infrastructure for diverse client environments.

    + Collaborate with remote teams of engineers and utilize cutting-edge technology.

    + Conduct on-site evaluations to inventory assets, identify network devices, and assess IT environments during pre-sales.

    + Lead customer onboarding, install software, configure equipment, and offer hands-on support.

    + Provide escalated on-site and remote IT support as needed.

    Requirements

    Required Skills & Qualifications:

    + Solid understanding of server, security, wireless, and network systems.

    + Proficiency with VMWare, Microsoft server operating systems, and m365; Fortigate Firewall experience is a plus.

    + Minimum of 2 years of IT experience.

    + Post-secondary education in a related field preferred.

    + Strong communication skills and eagerness to learn and grow.

    Other Requirements:

    + Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle.

    + Ability to transport and handle IT equipment as needed.
