In this role, you will handle a variety of accounting tasks, including processing vendor invoices, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring compliance with lien and levy procedures. Responsibilities:

• Process vendor invoices for assigned construction projects, ensuring accuracy and timely payments.

• Update job cost budgets and manage change orders effectively.

• Monitor and organize Preliminary Notices while maintaining compliance with contractor lien and levy procedures.

• Analyze vendor statements and address past-due invoices promptly.

• Reconcile accounts payable details with the general ledger on a monthly basis.

• Assist with weekly check runs, including invoice input, reconciliation, printing, and scanning tasks.

• Manage the mailing of signed checks and organize paid invoices for accurate record-keeping.

• Prepare daily cash receipts, bank transfers, and other data entries as needed.

• Serve as a backup for utility invoice coding, payments, and daily bank runs.

• Support bank reconciliation efforts and other miscellaneous accounting duties.

Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting, including accounts payable and data entry.

• Strong understanding of accounts payable, general ledger, and journal entry processes.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and familiarity with Adobe tools for scanning and organizing documents.

• Solid organizational and time management abilities.

• Background in accounting education is a plus.

• Positive, team-oriented attitude with a willingness to contribute to group success.
