Robert Half is partnering with a local law firm in the Greater Seattle Area to identify a Litigation Attorney who is ready to jump in to assist in an excellent opportunity to work on diverse cases while collaborating within a dynamic and supportive environment. In this role, you will provide expert legal counsel, manage litigation processes, and ensure compliance with the highest standards of integrity. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work on diverse cases while collaborating within a dynamic and supportive environment. This position is contract, with potential for extension/conversion into a permanent role.

Pay Rate: $50-65 per hour DOE

Duration: 3+ month contract, with a potential for contract-to-hire

Schedule: M-F, 8am-5pm

Responsibilities:

+ Represent clients in civil defense litigation, including drafting legal documents, conducting depositions, and navigating arbitration and trial proceedings.

+ Manage multiple litigation projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlines in a fast-paced setting.

+ Collaborate effectively with paralegals and legal assistants to ensure efficient case management and resolution.

+ Conduct thorough legal research and prepare comprehensive briefs to support case strategies.

+ Utilize case management and document management software to organize and track case progress.

+ Maintain a commitment to the highest ethical standards and integrity in all legal practices.

+ Foster strong relationships with clients and team members to ensure effective communication and successful outcomes.

Requirements

+ 2+ YOE as a Washington barred attorney with litigation experience

+ Trial experience a HUGE PLUS!

The salary range for this position is $50-65/hr. Benefits available to contract/temporary professionals, include medical, vision, dental, and life and disability insurance.
