Description

We are looking for a highly detail-oriented Sr. Data Entry Clerk to join our client that is based in the south metro, Minnesota area. There is flexibility to be remote but MUST live in Minnesota. In this long-term contract position, you will play a key role in managing and maintaining the quality of material master data for their business unit. Your ability to ensure data accuracy, follow compliance standards, and support business operations will be essential to success in this role. Responsibilities:

+ Process material master data requests with precision, ensuring compliance with policies, procedures, and service level agreements (SLAs).

+ Execute updates to master data, including customer, vendor, and material information, while ensuring all requests align with established standards.

+ Assist in identifying and resolving duplicate data and support data cleansing activities during integration projects.

+ Contribute to the development and enforcement of workflows that align with best business practices.

+ Collaborate with branches, corporate teams, and vendors to address data issues and maintain strong working relationships.

+ Participate in master data management projects and support the creation of forms, procedures, and work instructions.

+ Identify opportunities for process improvements and data quality enhancements.

+ Provide exceptional support to internal teams by addressing data-related inquiries and ensuring compliance with governance policies.

+ Perform additional duties as assigned to support team goals.

Requirements

+ Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic knowledge of data management tools.

+ Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities effectively.

+ Excellent problem-solving and multitasking abilities, with a keen attention to detail.

+ Bachelor's degree in a business-related field preferred, along with two years of experience in a data-related role.

+ Familiarity with SAP and material master data processes is highly desirable.

+ Demonstrated analytical skills with the ability to conduct research and resolve complex issues.
