As a **Security Professional - Healthcare Site** in **South San Francisco, CA** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents and provide a welcoming presence. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, assisting staff and visitors, and responding to situations with professionalism and care. You will be expected to deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication, reflecting our values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first. This role is ideal for individuals who are agile, reliable, and committed to creating a positive environment for everyone on site.

Responsibilities:

+ Provide customer service to individuals at the healthcare location by following security procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.

+ Observe and report any suspicious behavior, hazards, or security-related incidents to the appropriate personnel.

+ Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying identification when required, and helping to maintain a secure environment for staff, patients, and visitors.

+ Support emergency response activities by following established protocols and assisting first responders as directed.

Minimum Requirements:

+ California Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
